A group of Brigham Young University students is protesting the Mormon church-owned school's beard ban.

The students argue the ban should be lifted but BYU university officials say the students agree to those grooming standards on the first day of classes.

    It would be much less arguable if the policy was announced prior to application to the college AND the “agreement” was made prior to admission. The first day of classes is not the time to proclaim a grooming policy.
