Carlisle Police charge a man they say tried to sexually assault a woman. It happened on September 22nd in the 500 block of North Hanover Street. The victim says Lee Payne, who was a guest in the home where the assault took place, pulled her into a bedroom where he held her down on a bed and attempted to assault the her. The victim was able to get away from Payne and flee the residence. Payne into custody at the Carlisle Hospital and charged with attempted sexual assault and unlawful restraint.
