UPPER ALLEN, Pa.,(WPMT) – A Mechanicsburg woman is headed to trial on check forgery charges. Police were contacted in May by a resident after discrepancies were discovered in their financial accounts. Investigators determined Kassandra M. Krick, 24, stole and forged several checks from the victim and then cashed them.
Charges against Krick include Forgery and Theft by Unlawful Taking.
Following a preliminary hearing on Monday September 29, the charges were waived to Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas.
Krick is currently being held in Cumberland County Prison on bail totaling $157,100 related to other charges.
