HARRISBURG (WPMT)-A 14-year-old girl was violently assaulted in Harrisburg on Friday morning while walking to school, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Market Street for a report of a disoriented juvenile around 7:40 a.m.

According to police, an adult male approached the girl and forced her behind a nearby home. No weapon was displayed–but investigators believe he made threats indicating that he had a weapon.
