Man stabbed to death in Lancaster identified; Suspect still at large

A Lancaster man was stabbed Sunday morning and later died at the hospital. Police say they found Alexander Vazquez-Dones on the first block of Stevens Avenue around 11:12am Sunday. He was bleeding from a stab wound to his torso. Vazquez-Dones was taken to Lancaster General Hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Investigators have an arrest warrant for Ernie Rivera-Gonzalez, 28.  Rivera-Gonzalez is 28 years old, about 5’10, weighing 165 lbs. His last known address is 424 N. Mary Street Lancaster, PA
If you see Rivera-Gonzalez or know his whereabouts, you are asked to call 911 immediately or contact the Lancaster City Police at (717)735-3300. The investigation is active and on-going. Investigators believe there may have been other people in the area of Stevens Ave and East End Ave when this incident occurred and would like to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
