After much anticipation we finally know who will be the halftime performer for Super Bowl 49.
Pop star, Katy Perry will perform at the big game in Glendale, Arizona on February 1st.
Perry beat out Coldplay and Rihanna, who were also rumored to be in the running for the gig.
And no she will not be paying to play.
It was rumored that the NFL planned to make its halftime performers pay to make it on stage.
In an appearance on ESPN’s College Gameday on Saturday , Perry said she’s, “not the kind of girl to pay to play the Super Bowl.”
