YORK CITY (WPMT)-Police in York City arrested a Delaware County man Monday on drug charges as they continue to crack down on heroin dealers.
The York City Narcotics Unit charged 29-year-old Rasheem Whatley, of Darby, with possession with intent to deliver heroin and crystal meth. He was arrested along the 100 block of North George Street.
According to police, Whatley was in possession of more than $22,000 worth of heroin and $3,5000 in crystal meth.
Police said they are making it a priority to investigate and arrest large scale heroin dealers within the city.
