GREENCASTLE (WPMT)-Police arrested four people Tuesday in connection with a synthetic drug bust in Franklin County, according to Franklin County District Attorney Matthew D. Fogal.

Investigators were tipped off that 20-year-old Dylan Wright was selling synthetic drugs in the Greencastle area, Fogal said.  Officers watched Wright sell synthetic drugs near the first block of Eastern Avenue to several individuals.

Wright was subsequently arrested and taken to Franklin County Jail. He is charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

According to the District Attorney’s office, Wright as in possession of 11 bags of various types of synthetic drugs and $1,555 in cash. Investigators estimate the drugs were worth $330. Authorities searched an apartment and recovered an additional 78 bags of synthetic drugs worth approximately $2,340.

Police also arrested 18-year-old Nicholas Shinn, 20-year-old Richard Lee Parker and a 17-year-old male juvenile. All three have been released and are each charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
