Lawmakers paid tribute to former State Sen. Mike Waugh on the senate floor in Harrisburg. Waugh died last week. He represented York county in the state legislature for more than two decades. He served as republican in the state house and then the senate for a total of 21 years. Waugh decided last year not to seek re-election citing health issues. He resigned to take over as an executive director at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. He said at that time he thought his health had improved significantly and his new job was a perfect fit because of his passion for agriculture.
