SOGGY WEDNESDAY

Wet and breezy Wednesday

A storm system out west is going to bring a wet Wednesday to our region, with most places receiving a good soaking. Showers are scattered in nature through the morning. A steadier rain moves into our western parts by noon. A few thunderstorms could develop as well, with the possibility that couple are on the stronger side. Otherwise, with a few rumbles possible. Many places are expected to total and inch to an inch and a half of rainfall, with some locally heavier amounts possible. The rain lightens through the evening, and tapers through the night. It’s a windy day, with the breezes beginning to let up during the evening hours.

SLOWLY DRYING

Residual showers linger on Thursday as the system slowly drifts through the area. Highs are in the middle to upper 60s Thursday. Friday the storm system finally clears the area, and it’s a drier day with some sunshine. Highs are in the upper 60s.

COOLING DOWN

A pool of cool air plunges into the area beginning on Saturday. Temperatures fall well below seasonable averages by Sunday, with readings in the 50s. It’s cool leading into the beginning of next week too, with temperatures near 60 degrees. Monday is dry with building clouds, and a few showers are possible for Tuesday.

Have a great Wednesday!
