Lancaster homicide suspect arrested in Connecticut

Lancaster City Police say the suspect in an October 5th stabbing is in custody in Connecticut. Ernie Rivera-Gonzalez was arrested last night in Enfield, Connecticut by the Enfield Police Department. Lancaster City Police Detectives are currently traveling to Connecticut.

Rivera-Gonzalez is accused of  stabbing a man in the 1st block of Stevens Avenue on Sunday, October 5th, aroung at 11:12 am. Officers arrived on scene and found a male victim laying on the sidewalk.   The victim was bleeding from an apparent stab wound to the torso.  The victim was taken to Lancaster General Hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
