Dog lovers and beer lovers came together on Saturday for the Human League of Lancaster County's first ever "Pints for Pups" event at Buchanan Park in Lancaster.

Attendees got to sample beer from 50 local breweries while listening to live music and spending time with their 4-legged friends.

"We have so many great breweries popping up that are local , even in York," Special Events Coordinator Joe Hess said, "It's natural to highlight these beers, support local breweries. You can bring your dog! How much fun is that?  Bring your dog on this beautiful fall day, and drink beer, there's a costume contest for your dog. Its going to be a good day."

More than 400 tickets were sold for the event. All proceeds will benefit the Humane League of Lancaster County.
