Students at Penn State York enjoyed Fall Fest on their campus in Spring Garden Township on Sunday.
The event is one of many sponsored by the Penn State York THON Committee leading up to the annual dance marathon known as THON.
Last year, THON raised more than $13.3-million for the Four Diamonds Fund and Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.
That brings the total money raised in THON history to more than $114-million.
Danielle Olson, a Co-Chair of THON says, "You see the families in there and you realize you know how much of a difference you are making in their lives just donating $5.00 or even 25-cents, so it's a good thing."
This academic year, THON will be held February 20-22, 2015 at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College.
This collective effort, involving more than 15,000 students, has become one of Penn State's greatest and most unifying traditions. This year's theme is being called "Empower the Dreamers."
