If you're gearing up to throw a Halloween bash this weekend... don't forget the drinks!
Brian Phillips from Fine Wine and Good Spirits shared some seasonal favorites.
Dancing with the Devil
• 1 oz Jim Beam Devil’s Cut Bourbon
• ½ oz Gran Gala Triple Orange Liquor
• 1 oz. sour mix
• 1 oz passion fruit juice
• 1-2 dashes hot sauce.
Pour all ingredients into a collins glass filled with ice; stir gently. Garnish with a cherry.
Jack-O-Lantern
• 2 oz New Amsterdam Citrus Vodka
• 1 oz Mango Nectar
• ½ oz Orange Juice
• ½ oz Sour Mix
Combine all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into a goblet glass and garnish with a slice of orange and a mint leaf laid flat on top.
Sweet Spider
• 1 oz Chambord liqueur
• 1½ Finlandia Vodka
• ½ oz. Gran Gala Triple Orange Liquor
• ½ oz. fresh lemon juice
• ½ oz. pomegranate juice
• Black licorice strings.
Add all ingredients (except licorice) to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until cold and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with eight licorice string "legs" to give it a creepy effect.
Scary Mary
• 1 ½ oz Jose Cuervo Silver Tequila
• 3 oz Tomato Juice
• 1 oz Lime Juice
• 4 dashes Tabasco Sauce (or Cholula)
• 2 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
• 1 pinches Salt
• 1 pinches Pepper
Pour all ingredients collins glass half-filled with ice; stir gently. Garnish with a celery stalk and a large shrimp.
