Harrisburg fatal stabbing victim from New Cumberland

HARRISBURG, Pa., (WPMT) Harrisburg City Police identify the victim in a fatal stabbing over the weekend as 35 year old Richard McQuown, of New Cumberland.

McQuown was discovered by a passerby on the sidewalk aong Riverfront Walk under the Walnut Street Bridge at around 10:36 am, Saturday, November 1, suffering from apparent stab wounds.  He was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

McQuown was last seen in downtown Harrisburg at around 10:15 pm on Friday.

The investigation into his death continues. Anyone with information regarding McQuown’s whereabouts prior to his stabbing or on the incident is asked to contact Detective Richard lachini at (717) 255-3118 or Lieutenant Kelly Wetzel at (717) 255-3170.
