LOWER PAXTON TWP., Pa(WPMT) – A 76 year old Dauphin County man died in a head-on crash  involving a car and an SUV over the weekend. It happened  Saturday, November 1, at about 9:36 pm on Nyes Road, south of Locust Lane.

Lower Paxton Township Police say Van Bich Thi Nguyen, of Lori Drive in the township, died instantly in the crash. Nguyen was a back seat passenger in a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Quang Minh Dang, 47.  Dang along with another passenger in the front seat of car, Thao Thiphuong Nguyen, 40, both also from the same Lori Drive address, were seriously injured in the crash.  They were admitted to Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

The second vehicle in the crash, a 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe, was driven by John Matthew Poyer, 38, was treated and released from Hershey Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation by Township Police, and the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office.  A final determination of fault and charges in the crash will be determined upon the receipt of toxicology reports.
