Deadly crash closes portion of Route 372 in York County

UPDATE:  The York County Coroner’s Office reports a child injured in the crash died Monday evening at York Hospital.  Two adults were pronounced dead at the scene.  All three victim’s are believed from the same family.  Names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.


LOWER CHANCEFORD Twp., Pa.(WPMT) The York County Coroner is on the scene of a reported double fatality in York County.  Emergency crews responded to a call of a crash with ejection at about 3:15 pm along Route 372, Holtwood Road at Flaharty Road in Lower Chanceford Township. A medical helicopter was also called to the scene.

State Police say two people died in the crash. Multiple others were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Shortly afterwards, a call went out for the county coroner.  No word on identity of the victims.
