LANCASTER, Pa.,(WPMT) – Lancaster City Police identify a suspect in a street shooting. It happened at around 2:40 pm on Wednesday, November 5 in the area of Howard Avenue and South Lime Street.

The victim, a 19 year old city resident, was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to one of his ankles.

Investigators say the shooter is 23 year old Nelson Robles. Police say his last known address was in 600 block of East End Avenue in the city. His previous address was in the Bronx, New York.  Robles remains at large. The gun used during the assault has not been recovered.

An arrest warrant for Robles has been issued charging him with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault, and one count of Persons Not to Possess Firearms.

Robles is an hispanic male, about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds.  He has an inscribed tatoo on his right forearm that reads “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today”.  His left forearm has a musical G clef.
