STRASBURG Twp., Pa.(WPMT)- Pennsylvania State Police-Lancaster Station are investigating an attempted luring of a child at a school bus stop in the county. It happened at about 8:00 am along the 1300 block of Beaver Valley Pike, Route 222, in Strasburg Township.
An 8 year old girl and a 9 year old boy were waiting for the school bus when a white in color vehicle, possibly with a black and yellow striped caution tape on the rear bumper, stopped nearby.
A tan white male with a goatee and brown wavy hair got out of the vehicle and said, “Hey, come here, the cops are coming”.
After the children did not respond to his request, the man got back into his vehicle and drove away northbound on Route 222.
