By Lindsey Fry – Lee County, FL (WBBH) — Last night we told you about a mother and daughter who both went into labor on the same day. Tonight, we were there when all four arrived home.

“We’re sitting here and we’re both looking at each other going ‘we have babies,'” said Heather Penticoff.

Penticoff and her daughter Destinee Martin found out they were both pregnant on the same day.

“I knew that they were trying and wanting another baby, but to find out the same day was just like ‘wow,'” said Martin.

Martin admits she wasn’t thrilled when she found out about her mom’s pregnancy. But, she says the nine-month journey has already brought them closer.

“Going through the pregnancy and now having her here to help me is a lot nicer than if it wouldn’t have wen that way,” said Martin.

But, they didn’t expect to have the same due date.

“It’s not really something you ever want or think could happen,” said Martin.

On Monday, 20-year-old Martin and 40-year-old Penticoff went to the hospital — where baby girl Madeline and baby boy Damien were born just 2 hours and 46 minutes apart.

“You couldn’t try to plan this,” said Penticoff.

On Thursday, all four are under the same roof for the first time — Damien in one room and his aunt Madeline just across the hall.

“We’re blessed and we wouldn’t change a thing,” said Penticoff.
