HANOVER, PA. (WPMT) An 11 year old pedestrian is struck and injured by an out of control car in Hanover Borough.  It happened just before 2:30 pm Sunday along the 200 block of E. Chestnut Street.

Police say a a 16 year old Maryland driver lost control of his 2000 Mustang as he was attempting to turn from Broadway onto E. Chestnut Street. The Mustang rolled onto the sidewalk, struck the victim as he was walking down the street, continued on and struck a fence belonging to Capital Self Storage. The car finally came to rest against the rear of an apartment building.

There were no other reported injuries. No word on the condition of the child.  Borough police say their investigation continues.
