HARRISBURG, PA (WPMT)- The victim in a fatal shooting Wednesday evening in Harrisburg is identified as Maurice Geter, Jr.
Autopsy results revealed that Geter died of a single gunshot wound to the chest. His death has been ruled a homicide.
The shooting happened at about 5:24 pm along the 200 block of N. 15th Street near Apricot Street. Police responded to a call of multiple shots fired and a man down.
Geter was treated by medical personnel and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
