RECORD START?:  It’s a frigid morning for us today as temperatures duck into the teens, closing in on some records.  The record low today is 18° from 1924.  It’s clear and crisp with a light, cold breeze.  We only warm to the lower 30s with clouds thickening through our day.

CLIPPER:  A fast moving clipper brings some clouds in for tonight into Thursday.  By nature, it has limited moisture to work with so we expect only some flurries to work through.  We start in the upper 20s and end near 40°.  It’s not as cold, but we are still a good 10° below average.  The breeze picks back up and does allow colder air in for Friday.  Highs Friday hit the middle 30s with the continued breeze and mostly sunny skies.

WEEKEND:  As the high moves in over Saturday, we’re mostly sunny to start.  We do warm to near 40° again.  Clouds thicken late as our next system builds to the south.  Expect a mostly cloudy Sunday, with mild air returning.  We make it to the lower 50s.  Then, showers arrive later in the day, lasting overnight.

NEXT WEEK:  We keep scattered showers in our life for Monday, but it comes with warmer air as we nudge into the lower 60s.  The rain ends, and cooler air settles back in for mid-week as we move toward the Thanksgiving holiday.

Bundle up out the door today!
