A Leola man is arrested after he allegedly assaulted a driver for “cutting him off.” It happened around 11:30pm Thursday. The victim told police he was driving east on PA Route 772 when he inadvertently cut off another vehicle. There was no contact between the vehicles. The victim told police the driver of the other vehicle pulled a long side his car and began yelling and pointing at him.   The suspect reportedly tailgated the victim’s vehicle until they came to a stop at the intersection of PA 772 and West Main Street.   That’s when the suspect, Jonathan Guadarrama, 28,  allegedly ran up to the victim’s vehicle and opened the door, then proceeded to punch and kick the victim in the face.   Police say the victim was bleeding from the nose and mouth.  He declined medical treatment at the scene. Using the victim’s description, police were soon able to identify Guadarrama and track him down. Police say he admitted to the attack. Guadarrama is charged with Simple Assault.
