In Harrisburg, the mayor presented his 2015 to the City Council Tuesday night.

Mayor Eric Papenfuse says the city will have a balanced budget for the first time in years.

The $59 million budget projects less revenue, but it doesn’t call for any tax increases.

The mayor wants to hire five new firefighters and nine new police officers. $2 million will go to revamp the city's sanitation department, upgrading trucks and installing cameras to catch illegal dumping.

"Between new lighting for the whole city and major changes in sanitation, you're going to see some incredibly visible changes that are going to benefit all Harrisburg residents next year," says Papenfuse.

The budget plan does project the city will make $500,000 from its new parking agreement next year.
