Child found unattended twice; mother charged

PALMYRA, PA.(WPMT) A Lebanon County mother is charged after her four year old son is found unattended twice on the same day.  Palmyra Borough Police were on October 24 to the intersection of North Railroad Street and Spruce Street. The first call came at 8:16 am and the second call at the same intersection at 1:42 pm that afternoon.

Borough police charged Hilary Haverstein, 36, with Endangering Welfare of Children.

    These are the matters that require police attention, she will cry oh im a single parent, better that than the mother of a dead or abducted child

    So, it takes five weeks to decide to charge her or five weeks before it’s worthy to announce it to the public in a news story?
