Governor Corbett Orders Flags to Fly at Half-Staff in Honor of Fallen Firefighter

Governor Tom Corbett today ordered all Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at Commonwealth facilities in Philadelphia County lowered to half-staff in honor of fallen firefighter Joyce Craig-Lewis.

Craig-Lewis, 36, of Philadelphia, served with the Philadelphia Fire Department and was responding to an emergency with the fire department on Tuesday and was killed in the line of duty.

Pennsylvania flags shall remain lowered until sunset on the day of Craig-Lewis’ interment.
