Food Bags for Students

Keeping children well fed over the holidays.  That's the goal of the HP Quakers Cares Program.  Friday the group passed out more than 600 bags of food to the students at Hannah Penn K-8 School in York.  HP Quakers Cares Program provides at-risk children with nutritious, easy to prepare foods for the holiday break from school.  Friday's event kicked-off a program that the York County Food Bank hopes will provide Hannah Penn K-8 school students with a bag of weekend food.  The York County Food Bank is seeking donations to keep the program funded until June 2015.  If you would like to donate you can send your donations to the York County Food Bank, 254 West Princess Street, York, PA 17401, attention HP Quakers Cares.
