UPDATE: Officer involved shooting in York City

State police are now investigating an officer involved shooting that happened in the early morning hours on Friday in York City.

According to police one person was shot during an incident that occurred along the 300 block of West Gay Avenue.

One person as shot but his injuries are non life threatening police said.

The officer involved was not injured and has been put on paid administrative leave as state police continue to investigate.
