RED LION (WPMT)-York Area Regional Police are trying to find a man they believe tried to abduct a Red Lion High School student as she was walking to school  Friday morning.

It happened shortly before 7 a.m. along the 200 block of South Park Street in Red Lion Borough. The girl told police she was approached by a man driving a black SUV.  The driver reached out his window and grabbed the girl by the arm and told her to “get in the car.” The girl was able to pull her arm away and the man drove off, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his early 20’s with black hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 717-741-1259.
