Driver identified in fatal Interstate 81 crash on Saturday

A New York man who  died in a one-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on Interstate 81 in Dauphin County has been identified.

According to state police, 27-year-old Ralph Hansen of Staten Island was traveling north on the highway near mile-marker 71 in East Hanover Township just before 2 a.m. when he lost control while trying to change lanes.

His tractor-trailer went onto the grassy median before  flipping onto the driver’s side and striking the guard rail.

Troopers said he was pronounced dead on scene.
