Shooting in Lancaster City

LANCASTER, PA (WPMT) Lancaster Police search for a suspect in the city’s latest shooting.  It happened just just before 3:00 pm along the 400 block of East King Street.

The victim, an unidentified 18 year old male, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.  The unidentified victim stumbled into a local barber shop where police were summoned.  The victim was rushed to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.  He currently listed in critical, but stable condition.

City police continue to interview witnesses and are reviewing video footage from Community Coalition cameras along the street.

In recent weeks Lancaster City has been plagued with a surge of shootings and other violent crime.
