CHRISTMAS EVE
Rain will continue to fall across the area this evening. Fog is also likely to accompany the gloomy conditions. On the bright side, temperatures will be rising through the 50’s and remain mild part of the overnight but will fall sharply once a cold front crosses the area after midnight.

Temperature Trend

Thunderstorms may be possible with the passage of the front as well. Winds will surely become quite gusty and some isolated wind gusts could reach 45 to 50mph but generally they will be westerly 15-25mph with gusts 30 to 40mph. Some areas are approaching an inch of rain and we could pick up an additional .30” of an inch before it ends.

Gusty winds will remain for much of the day. A few flurries in the higher elevations may be possible too. Clouds will mix with the sunshine for much of the day but we look to stay dry for the holiday.
