State police in Lancaster County said a man who was reported missing Christmas Eve day was located and was reunited with his family.
Police said William Ray Mace, 79, was located in the Philadelphia area following a traffic stop. He is now home and safe.

State police are searching for a missing Lancaster County man.

Police say William Mace, 79, was last seen leaving his home along the 600 block of Hollow Road in Providence Township around 9:30 a.m.  Wednesday. Police believe Mace did threaten to commit suicide before he left his house.

He was traveling in an unknown direction driving a  white 1995 Toyota Tacoma pick up with a PA registration of PS21179.

Police say Mace is described as 5’6″ tall about 140 pounds possibly wearing glasses, a white t-shirt, jeans, blue shoes, and a burgundy and red plaid coat.

Anyone who comes in contact with Mace is asked to call Lancaster Police at 717-299-7650.
