Ever return that holiday gift you just didn’t like? Well you’re not alone.

The National Retail Federation says nearly 40 percent of consumers are expected to return at least one of their holiday gifts — the day after Christmas when many people make those returns and also look for post-holiday bargains.

The York Galleria in Springettsbury Township, York County was packed with people taking advantage of the after Christmas deals.

"I was happy with my candles. I bought four of the big ones and a couple of the small ones and some of the fragrance things for, in the different rooms so I'm ready for next year," said shopper Deborah Flake.

Some retailers have also changed their return policies, making it more flexible for consumers with extended return periods or postage-free return shipping.
