Police in Hanover, York County are investigating a home invasion robbery and assault.

It happened on the 200-block of Moul Avenue at 9 on Monday night. Two men assaulted a 71-year-old man outside his home and then forced their way into the house where they confronted his wife, and stole money and jewelry.

Police say both men were armed with handguns. They are described as white men with thin builds. They wore black clothing and gloves, and had their faces covered.

The victim also reported getting a suspicious phone call earlier in the evening from someone claiming to be a police officer.

Neighbors are concerned that the suspects are at large.

"I see a lot of rather strange people wandering the streets and I'm seeing them even in the evening when I take my dog out back, wandering the back alleyway that, I've never seen before," says neighbor Donna Therres.

As if these people weren’t violated enough you need to show close up shots of their house!? How would you like it? Anything for a story….why? I love how in order to post this you say address never made public, but you place someone’s house and surrounding area who have been victimized online for all to see…brilliant.
