Township Police say the suspect walked into the store and pointed a semi-automatic handgun at a customer waiting to make a purchase before going to work. The male then threatened to shoot the customer if the clerk, who was behind glass, did not immediately turn over the money in the cash drawer.

The clerk turned over cash and the suspect fled the store in a northerly direction. It is believed that he ran into the Brook Apartments although that cannot be confirmed.

The robber is described as being about 5’6” tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a white mask, a gray skull cap and wearing gloves. No one was injured in the incident.

Police are awaiting video from inside and outside the store and are attempting to locate video from other businesses in the area and the apartment complex.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact Lower Paxton Township Police Department at (717) 657-5656 or the anonymous Tip-Line at (717) 724-8317.

Even if there was no disguise, the video sucks so much that it would be nearly useless. This is one reason why the police must also seek video from nearby businesses. It’s 2015. CFL and LED light bulbs, Flat Screens and High-Def TV, time to get video that is with the times.
