Arrest made in Manchester Twp. bank robbery

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP (WPMT)-Northern York County Regional Police  have made an arrest in a bank robbery that happened in Manchester Township on Monday.

Police say a tip helped them identify 40-year-old Gerald Haigis, of York City, as the man who robbed the Fulton Bank along the 3100 block of Susquehanna Trail in Manchester Township on Monday morning.

Officers recovered the clothing he wore during the robbery and most of the money that was taken at Haigis’ home, according to a news release.

Authorities charged Haigis with robbery, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. He was taken to York County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
