SUNBURY — Crews were called out Wednesday afternoon to battle flames at the Northumberland County prison.
It broke out around 2:30 p.m. at the county facility in Sunbury.
Images sent to PhotoLink show flames on the roof of the prison.
The roof of one part of the complex has collapsed.
Officials said all 208 prisoners were taken from the prison under heavy guard to a nearby church.
There is no word on injuries or the cause of the fire.
