UPDATE: Man wanted for allegedly beating girlfriend who tossed away his heroin is arrested

LANCASTER CO., PA (WPMT) — A Lancaster County man accused of beating his girlfriend after she threw away his heroin has been arrested.  It happened on Monday, January 12 at their Bentley Ridge Estates apartment. Fortis fled before police arrived on the scene.

East Lampeter Township Police say Thomas Fortis was arrested today after he returned to the apartment.  Following  arraignment on a charge of Domestic Violence Simple Assault, Fortis was sent to Lancaster County in lieu of $5,000 bail.
