State Police in Franklin County have released the name of the man killed in Friday night’s crash in Guilford Township.

64-year old Rodney Michalsky, of Waynesboro, died after crashing his pick-up truck into the back of a large manure pump. The pump was being hauled by a farm tractor on Wayne Road. Troopers say the manure pump did not have any working lights.

State Police in Franklin County say a 64-year-old man died after his pick-truck collided with a farm tractor hauling a manure pump.

According to officials, the 16-year-old driver of the farm tractor was towing a manure pump that did not have operational lights. The man crashed into the back of the tractor.

The accident happened along the 5400 block of Wayne Road in Guilford Township around  7:15 p.m. Friday.

Investigators said the man had to be cut out of his pick-up truck.

He was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center but later died. His name has not been released.

The 16-year-old boy driving the farm tractor was not hurt.
