A local organization is hitting the mark when it comes to archery.

Lancaster Archery hosted the 2015 LAS Classic this weekend at the Lancaster Host Resort and Expo Center in East Lampeter Township. More than 800 archers from across the country came out for the competition-- hoping to be crowned the best in their class from youth to amateur.

"This is by far the best field for professional archers," Women's Professional Archer Cara Kelly said, "I mean everybody comes out from the tournament side to the 3-d archery side, everybody wants to come and shoot Lancaster. It's such a diverse group of archers and competitors. It's used to be a warm-up, now it's you know-- you wanna win Lancaster, its one of those top tier events."

There were two days of qualifications and then the seeded competition with prize money up for grabs.
