UPDATE: Coroner says man shot multiple times near York elementary school

UPDATE: The York County Coroner said Monday Joshua Clark was shot multiple times Sunday evening and ruled his death a homicide.


UPDATE:  We now know the name of the man who was killed in a shooting in York Sunday night.

Police have identified the victim as 22-year-old Joshua Clark of York.


Police in York are investigating a deadly shooting. It happened before 8:00 Sunday night, near the playground of Alexander D. Goode Elementary School, on the 400-block of Wallace Street.

Investigators quickly taped-off the playground area and looked inside a mini-van near the scene. A man's body lay on the ground, covered with a white sheet.

City detectives and the York County Coroner were called to the scene. FOX43 is told three shots were fired.
