Clouds gradually fade Thursday

SHORT BREAK

It’s a cloudy and foggy start across the region on this Thursday morning, but high pressure building into the region will chase those clouds away. Through the day, clouds slowly fade from west to east, leaving clear skies by the evening hours. Highs are in the middle 30s to upper 30s. Expect more quiet weather for Friday. The only difference is some more sunshine through for the area. Highs are in the lower to middle 30s.

WEEKEND WOES

Clouds gradually fade Thursday

Models continue to indicate the potential for accumulating snow on Saturday, but the forecast still remains fairly changeable at this time. There is still plenty of flip-flopping in model tracks, and therefore storm totals. There is also some indication that a wintry mix could work into some areas, thus complicated snow amounts even more. Counties along the state line have the best to see accumulating snow. Areas north of the turnpike see the least amounts, and those south of the border see the highest amounts. Stay tuned for more updates as better model data comes in over the next 12 hours. Sunday looks much calmer with near seasonable temperatures. Expect mostly cloudy skies, and a few flakes as another clipper system approaches.

WEEKEND WOES

The clipper system crosses the area through Monday, so light snow accumulations are possible once more. Colder air spills in for the beginning of next week too. Temperatures fall into the 20s.

Have a great Thursday!
