DAUPHIN COUNTY, PA (WPMT) Pennsylvania State Police charge a Dauphin County man in a shooting that apparently resulted from a drug deal gone bad.  It happened on Tuesday, January 20 sometime between 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm at the intersection of North Grant and West 5th Streets in Williams Township.

Investigators say Isiah Andrew Roten, 18, of Williamstown, shot Grant Cooper Barder, 20, of Elizabethville in the abdomen with a .22 caliber pistol during a drug transaction.  Barder underwent emergency surgery at Harrisburg Hospital for the gunshot wound.

Roten was arrested and taken into custody today in Williamstown.  The weapon used in the shooting was also recovery at the time of the arrest.

Charges against Roten include Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault and Robbery. Following arraignment, Roten is in Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.
