The anticipated storm is wreaking havoc on the travel plans of millions, including some here in Central Pennsylvania.
As the day progressed, train arriving from New York City’s Penn Station through Philadelphia and into Lancaster were delayed 10-15 minutes. Trains departing from Lancaster Train Station and heading into the Northeast were on schedule. Amtrak has added additional mechanical engineers to respond to potential problems.

At Harrisburg International Airport, most flights are on schedule except for those heading to and from airports in Boston and Philadelphia. HIA Spokesman, Scott Miller, says they're taking all the necessary precautions as neighboring states brace for the blizzard.

Miller says, "When a storm is this certain, they start canceling and moving aircraft through impacted cities, that way airports have crews, they can clean the snow, get it out and as soon as it's ready to go again, bring the aircraft back in to those cities and start flying again.

If you have plans to travel by plane, check your flight status before you leave home. Also, HIA's twitter page encourages travelers to park in the airport parking garage so you don't get stuck in the snow.
