Gov. Tom Wolf (D) will sign an executive order Thursday, reinstating a moratorium on new leases for oil and gas drilling in state parks and forests.
He’ll sign the order at Benjamin Rush State Park in Philadelphia.
Last spring, former Gov. Tom Corbett (R) moved to allow drilling through horizontal wells on adjacent properties.
