Boil water advisory issued for some Harrisburg residents

Boil Water Advisory Continues till Lifted

HARRISBURG (WPMT) Capital Region Water issued a Boil Water Advisory Thursday for 40 customers living along the 1200 block of Walnut Street, 100 block of Balm Street, and 100 block of Linden Street, according to a news release.

The Boil Water Advisory was issued due to loss of positive water pressure to make a repair to a six-inch water main on the 100 block of Balm Street.
The repairs were completed and service has been restored. Customers in the affected area are advised to boil their water before using for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and food preparation.
Capital Region Water will notify customers when the advisory is lifted.
