Man killed in Franklin County crash

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP (WPMT)- A man died after his vehicle went off the road early Thursday and hit a tree in Franklin County, state police said.

It happened just before 5:30 a.m. along the 13000 block of Fort Louden Road in Montgomery Township.

According to police, the unidentified driver was heading south when the vehicle went off the road for unknown reasons and hit a tree.

The driver, who has not been identified pending notification of next of kin,  was pronounce dead at the scene.
