A person infected with measles spent time at three locations in Cumberland and Franklin counties. That person went to the first location last Saturday. "A Walmart which is on Conestoga Drive in Shippensburg from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight were the times that individuals could have been exposed," said Pennsylvania's new Physician General Dr. Rachel Levine.  The second place health officials say the infected person went was the Shippensburg Urgent Care Center. They say the person was inside sometime between 6:45 p.m. and 9 p.m.

That same night the person went to Chambersburg Hospital where they stayed until early Tuesday morning. Levine said if you got vaccinated in the 60s you're immunization may have worn off, and there are others at risk. "Infants less than one year of age because the vaccine is traditionally given by a pediatrician at one year of age. Also individuals who aren't vaccinated and sometime people from other parts of the world  where they don't vaccinate," said Levine.

Levine said if you don't know your immunization status it's as easy as asking your doctor. Red and watery eyes. A significant cough and then a really bad runny nose," said Levine. If you're experiencing any of those symptoms call your doctor immediately. The Department of Health will administer free vaccines through the rest of the week.
